My name is Jason Huber and I am currently based in the Charlotte Metro area.

My most recent position was at Spectrum Business as a Communications Support Specialist. Prior to that, I worked in the media industry for five years. My stops included WBTV News as a Digital Content Producer, Queen City News as an assignment editor/digital producer, and a content producer with RADIO.COM's WFNZ Sports Radio in Charlotte where I acted as the local digital lead while also acting as a digital reporter.

Throughout my experience, I have helped multiple brands by up to 30-40 percent and increased followings on different social media channels by up to 20,000. I used SEO practices, content strategy and marketing ideas to help discover these results. This is in addition having corporate experience and helping employees navigate change.

I am an Appalachian State University alumnus with a Bachelor of Science degree. I completed a major in journalism and a minor in media studies.

 

My experience reporting includes covering the Super Bowl, the Carolina Panthers, Charlotte Hornets, Charlotte Knights, the NCAA, the ACC, and the Charlotte Checkers. This also gave me the opportunity to work directly with public relations teams and try different writing styles.
